This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our advertising platform, including our website, services, and tools (collectively, the “Platform”). By creating an account or using our Platform, you agree to the terms of this Privacy Policy.

1. Information We Collect

We may collect information about you in a variety of ways. The information we may collect on the Platform includes:

1.1. Information You Provide to Us

  • Account Information: When you register as an Advertiser or Publisher, we collect personal information, such as your username and email address.
  • Publisher Payment Information: If you are a Publisher, we collect your chosen payment method and the necessary details to process your withdrawals.
  • Advertiser Billing Information: When you fund a campaign, your payment is processed via our third-party payment processor (WooCommerce). We do not store your full credit card information on our servers. We do retain a history of your billing transactions.
  • Campaign & Site Information: We collect the content and settings for your ad campaigns, including ad copy, images, videos, and targeting preferences. For Publishers, we collect the URL and category of the websites you submit for monetization.
  • Content for AI-Powered Ads: For our AI-Powered Dynamic Ad format, you provide a URL to your website or landing page. You grant us permission to access and analyze the text and image content on this URL for the sole purpose of automatically generating relevant Ad Content (headlines, descriptions, and keywords) for your campaign.

1.2. Information We Collect Automatically (From End Users Viewing Ads)

When an end user views an ad served by the Adcaver Platform on a Publisher’s website, we automatically collect certain information for ad delivery, reporting, and fraud prevention purposes:

  • IP Address and User Agent: We collect the end user’s IP address and browser user agent. For security and privacy, this information is immediately hashed (anonymized using a one-way cryptographic function) before being stored. Hashed data is used for fraud detection and to prevent invalid click activity.
  • Geographic Location: We use the end user’s IP address to determine their country to serve geographically targeted ads. This location data is derived from the MaxMind GeoLite2 database (see Section 7 for attribution).
  • Cookies for Retargeting: If an Advertiser enables retargeting, we may place a cookie on an end user’s browser after they visit the advertiser’s site. This cookie contains non-personally identifiable information that allows us to show them relevant ads from that advertiser on our publisher network.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect in the following ways:

  • To operate and maintain the Adcaver Platform.
  • To process transactions, including advertiser payments and publisher withdrawals.
  • To serve relevant ads based on targeting criteria such as geography, device, site category, and keywords.
  • To monitor and prevent fraudulent activity and ensure the integrity of our network.
  • To communicate with you, including sending service-related emails such as account status updates and payment notifications.
  • To improve our services, including our AI-powered tools for content and keyword generation.

3. Information Sharing and Disclosure

We do not sell your personal information. We may share your information in the following limited circumstances:

  • With Service Providers: We may share information with third-party vendors and service providers who perform services for us, such as payment processing.
  • For Legal Reasons: We may disclose your information if required to do so by law or in the good faith belief that such action is necessary to comply with a legal obligation, protect our rights or property, or prevent fraud.
  • Aggregated Data: We may share aggregated, non-personally identifiable information for analytics and reporting purposes.

4. Data Security

We use administrative, technical, and physical security measures to help protect your personal information. This includes hashing sensitive data like IP addresses and user agents to enhance privacy. While we have taken reasonable steps to secure the personal information you provide to us, please be aware that despite our efforts, no security measures are perfect or impenetrable.

You may at any time review or change the information in your account by logging into your dashboard. If you wish to terminate your account, you may do so by contacting us.

6. Cookies and Tracking Technologies

We use cookies and similar tracking technologies to operate our retargeting feature. You can control the use of cookies at the individual browser level. If you reject cookies, you may still use our site, but your ability to use some features may be limited.

7. Third-Party Services & Attribution

Our Platform uses third-party data to provide some of its features. This product includes GeoLite2 data created by MaxMind, available from https://www.maxmind.com.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the “Last Updated” date.
